inbetween ricefields

next stop already: phattalung. i've been to the 'tham malai caves' today - there have been thousands of bats. after the monk and me took pictures together in front of the jade statue. here are not many people around that talk english.. hopefully i catch a bus somewhere to go to krabi / ko phi phi.

stranded after beaches

here i am again after a while hanging out on the kecil island. it wasn't expected to be so quiet but that was fine to me. i did a refresher on my 'open water diver' and had have 2 more fun dives. have been to 18m again and saw some awesome fishes and a turtle, stingrays and today when i went snorkling there was a shark swimming with me - cooool! - three days before i made up myself with a serious sunburn but it's almost fine today; i still stay with my flu (small). yesterday we went to the other side of the island (long beach) to have some drinks; four of us didn't wait to go back by boat as we arrived in the dark and walked back through the jungle. damn! these termits hurt a lot - you could hear us shouting like hell .. funny anyway! - on the boat back to the main land i got to meet these 2 pretty girls from germany (mo + anja) again. we met at singapore before. enjoy your last days!! - and yoko - i read you are in tioman now - we have to meet somewhere in thailand i guess - just tell me if you like to come around then i'll go there. - now i am stucked behind the malaysian border trying to take a bus north (to krabi maybe) tomorrow. was quiet easy to walk over but i was late (because of a delicate dinner with the girls ;) - so there isn't a bus this evening.

hello malaysia, bye bye kuala lumpur

i made up my way to the 'perhentian islands' already - big step this time. i tell you: i made up my bus in singapore to take me to kuala lumpur, but by the day i lost the ticket (was 27$). that evening we went to the night-safari-zoo. after i decided to get up early and get a new ticket but i sleeped until 9 o'clock. so i lost the bus twice . - anyway, by 15:00 i left singapore and stay one night one day with full program in kl and took the nighttrain to kota bharu (which is on the northeast of malaysia for your homies). so here i am on a island called kecil. it's really some kind of robinson cruseo - was the only one got out of the boat. let's see.. - i'm really sorry to leave yoko and yurou behind in singapore.

quiet days in singapore

here i am in singapore now and it's really nice. i stay in a backpackers
dorm with several other people just traveling around. ken was around just on
monday when we went out for dinner in chinatown. i wasn't hungry at all but
he ordered four different meals that i had to try. then the other day i hang
out with daniel eating indian food with my fingers - he's from australia;
should have arrived in switzerland by now. daniel is going for the
october-festival - oh my god :) - yesterday evening we went to chinatown
again to eat - but then at 2pm when i went to bed i really got bad - i puked
and diarrhea was it's likely partner. so i keep it quiet for today again and
haven't seen anything than chinatown and little india until now.

elefant and little children

heyja. i just arrived securely in singapore but still deaf. since i have a
flu the flight wasn't that nice. the nicer it is that they give you free
internet access at the airport - time to give you a note. - yesterday when i
just went in for getting some cash it happened. just on the neighbourstreet
an little elefant walk along... nothing more to say. - the railwaytrack
yesterday.. at the ed i was playing with the children and taken photos. even
the little children came to let me take a picture of them ;)

bangkok flavoured rain

since last time i went trought the whole street seeing the temple (from
outside only cause i haven't heard to wear long trousers. was good looking
anyway. after khoasan road i hang around with some guys playing some kind of
footbag, just with the big plastic formed ball. i'll show you later. i
didn't went in to chinatown cause it was raining again (except today good
luck). on friday i made myself up and visited the big shopping centers -
hell - it's like always - you get fucked up. after that i played footbag in
front of the skyskraper with some breakdance teens. wasn't enough i have to
mention that you can really get sick by the airconditing in the shopping
centers, trains.. today i've been visiting the big chatuchak market - was
awake at 8 o'clock good bless me. the market: huge!! - later i tried out the
underground - cold again - tricky to get in again. it took me to the
southside where i gamble-searched for the office. took me some time but i
found it - empty. took some pictures with this nice postoffice-guy and left
the ghetto - almost: i decided to pass trough the roughest part on the old
railwaytrack: 2 km of eyes staring at me...

timezones suck

sawadie khrap. did you ever have this experience that you wake up in the
middle of the night not knowing what time it is, not even am/pm. and the
same in the morning, with the tought: i need to check out the room.. - as
planned i resident in the atlanta hotel in sukhumvit - it's nice: with a
pool i haved tried yet. the doubleroom is 480 baht. - yesterday evening i
stepped into a countrybar or sth. later some ac/dc-looking thai guys played
music: like beachboys .) later the evening it rained like hell. all over you
can have girl. right now i am around the temple and the colorful khoasan rd.
came here by skytrain and boot. i'm fine so far.

leaving my guitar behind

i'm still around and decided awefully this morning to travel without my guitar. asking how much it'd cost me to take it - they told me that it is an extra ticket (would be funny having my good friend sitting right beside me). - yesterday i ordered my flight to singapore: i'm stepping over on the 19th. // to all your mozilla-users: check out the rss-feed to receive a notice automatically when i do new posting.

going to asia

only 5 days left! which means 2 nightshifts in my case. i got my
typhus-injection and other 'drugs' with me - on wednesday my flight takes me
to bangkok. for taking as much pictures as i like to i bought the mobile
mediadrive 2060 from x-drive and set it up with a 60 gigabyte harddrive.
hopefully the weather will be fine - wish to have fun (to me).
