foo_playcount.dll messing up id3v2 & art

for some month i am using foobar2000 as my favourite music player. all my mp3s are tagged with id3v1, id3v2 and an art-image (if there is one available).
while working out the new music with tag&rename i noticed several messed up files on the older albums: only the id3v1 tags remained on these files - id3v2 and art was gone!
after some research i found the hints in the hydrogenaudio-forum - the playcount module updates the files acting after the settings you have chosen in the preferences! (screenshot)

1) Playback \ Input \ Standard inputs \ MP3 tag writing ==> ID3v2 and ID3v1
2) Database ==> Block tag update operations



keep an eye on - the default is a shit! hope it does not happen to you now, will take some time to re-tag the files - specially on the longer-named once not supported in id3v1.

i'm actually trying to get it done with songs from john frusciante - best known as the guitarist from the red hot chili peppers. here are two songs of him as guitar tabs .. i just formated them a bit.
