i like to recommend ratatöska to you! ratatöska is a band from berlin which plays 'rumpel' (as they name it) which is a potpourri of ska, polka, reggae and rock. - yesterday they played at the lai - thank you for a nice evening! check out their website: www.ratatoeska.de and listen to them at www.myspace.com/ratatoeska

... after a long evening i got awake at 4pm - so it was time to have a frühstücksschnitzel.

labels at blancdenoir

short message to inform you: there is a new gimmick with the blancdenoir-blog. i added a label to every post i ever did. by these labels you can find entries much easier. click on the label to find a group of articles that deal with a similar topic, f.e. music, homelife, technerd, coolresource and so on. it's somehow a categorie for each posting.

msie7 linebreak bug

these days i have to work on websites again. the task includes to check whether the site looks okay using firefox and: microsoft internet explorer 7. - soo, suprisingly it does not: in some bizzare kind of way the ie7 shifts down the list fields (my menu) that come after the image (logo above). see screenshot (errorstate is on top).



the problem occurs only because of a linebreak! which i set between the image and the ul-element. unbelieveable - also that i found out :/ see screenshot (fix version is on bottom). have fun with the fantastic new internet explorer! it supplies work for borred people ....
